The fair trade network

In order to distribute the fair trade products, four associations collaborate on the communication media. They are Fairtrade Labelling Organizations International (F), International Fair Trade Association (I) , Network of European Worldshops (N) and European Fair Trade Association (E). They developped 7 principles; that 7 principles are based on :

  1. the sustainable development (Creating opportunities for economically disadvantaged producers )
  2. deal fairly and respectfully with trading partners
  3. develop producers’ independence
  4. payment of a fair price
  5. gender equity
  6. good working conditions
  7. environmental protection
